The Calvinist Church   The beginning of this religious community in Oradea coincide with the time when Martin Luther presented his ideas about the reform of the Church. Untill 1952, in Oradea all the bishops formed only one bishop. Since then they have decided to make other bishops for their community. At this time Oradea has 8 Lutheran Bishops including our County Bishopric. The Calvinist Institute "Sulyok Istvan", was founded in order to prepare the religion theachers. The Calvinist High School was founded in 1991 under the name: "Lorantffy Zsuzsanna".
